Energy Internships

Course: ENTM 40903 Energy Internship (any semester including summers)

Students that find internships in the energy industry can also receive 3 credits (P/NC) towards the energy minor.

  • You must be working when enrolled into this course.
  • There are no class meetings or exams.
  • A “permit” is required to register into this class.
  • You can only take this Internship class “one time” for credit in the Energy Minor.

Guidelines & Requirements

  1. At least a 2.5 GPA in major
  2. At least Junior Standing
  3. An approved internship with an energy company and min 260 work hours
  4. Keep a weekly log/journal of work activities…signed off by employer
  5. Write an 8-12 page paper of internship experience
  6. Paper and Journal Due:  Wed before of Study Days or at the End of Summer.
